Major progress in peace talks between Russia and Ukraine

The second round of peace talks on the Belarusian border between Russian and Ukrainian diplomats has come to an end in which the two sides agreed on a key point.

According to the International News Agency, two rounds of peace talks between the diplomats of Russia and Ukraine have been completed. During talks on the Belarusian border, the two sides agreed to establish a safe passage for the safe evacuation of civilians from war-torn areas.

In this regard, Mikhailopodolyak, an adviser to the Ukrainian President, said that in the talks, two points were offered by us: general ceasefire and temporary peace, which could not be agreed upon. 

Regarding the progress of the talks, the adviser to the President of Ukraine said that the parties have agreed on a temporary ceasefire in some places for the safe evacuation of citizens so that the evacuation of citizens can be allowed.

Adviser Mikhailopodolaiak added that a possible temporary ceasefire would be in some places to create human corridors so that citizens could move safely through the corridors.

Russia's former Minister of Culture Vladimir Medansky also confirmed that the two sides had agreed to create a safe passage for the evacuation of civilians, saying that the first priority was the evacuation of civilians trapped in the area of ​​military conflict.

Negotiators from Russia and Ukraine have said that the agreement will be implemented as soon as possible, but did not give a final date. A third round of peace talks between the two sides is expected next week.
