US President Joe Biden has said he would consider imposing personal sanctions on President Vladimir Putin if Russia invaded Ukraine.

According to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), US President Joe Biden has once again warned Russia that if it invades Ukraine, it will have dire consequences.

He said any move by Russia on the Ukrainian border would be considered the biggest attack since World War II.

The British prime minister has called on European allies to impose sanctions on Russia if it invades Ukraine.

Russia has deployed about 100,000 troops on Ukraine's border, but has denied any involvement in the attack.
