 Pak-India change of nuclear centers and prisoner lists

According to the Foreign Office, the listing of nuclear centers in Pakistan become surpassed over to the Indian High Commission, even as in New Delhi, the Indian Foreign Ministry surpassed over the listing of Indian nuclear centers to the Pakistan High Commission. 

The Foreign Office said that the lists of Pak-India prisoners have also been exchanged.

The spokesman said that a list of Indian prisoners in Pakistan has been submitted to the Indian High Commission in Islamabad according to which there are 628 Indian prisoners in Pakistan at present.

According to the spokesperson, India has given a list of Pakistani prisoners to the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi under which there are 355 Pakistani prisoners in India.

Pakistani prisoners include 282 civilians and 73 fishermen

 It was informed that the list of prisoners is exchanged under the Pak-India agreement of 2008, according to which the list of prisoners has to be exchanged twice a year, on January 1 and July 1.
