World's smallest reptile discovered in Madagascar

The world's smallest reptile has been discovered in the East African country of Madagascar.

According to foreign media, experts from Germany and Madagascar have confirmed that this tiny chameleon is the world's smallest reptile found in the northern jungle.

Experts have dubbed it the 'little chameleon' (nano-chameleon) which is less than an inch long, ie only 13.5 mm.

Keep in mind that there are 25.5 mm within an inch and this chameleon is even smaller and can easily fit on a finger like a fly.

According to the report, this species of small chameleon is found in the northern forests of Madagascar.

Experts have also expressed concern over the extinction of this interesting and delicate creature, which is said to be the main reason for deforestation.
