Glacier rupture in the Indian state of Uttarakhand has caused severe flooding in the Dholi Ganga river, flooding in the vicinity of the river and flooding of dozens of houses. According to Indian media, the flooding in the river has severely damaged the Rishi Ganga power project. At least 150 people are feared dead in the floods.

There are also reports of 500 people missing from areas along the river. According to Indian media, the missing persons may be laborers working on the dam.

High alert has been issued from Chamoli district to Haridwar due to severe flood relay and flood in the river. Srinagar and Rishi Cash Dams have been evacuated on the arrival of a possible relay. Rescue teams are working, and the search for the missing continues.

On the other hand, the officials of Indus Water Commission of Pakistan say that if water comes from Uri 1 and 2, we are ready. We have the capacity to store plenty of water. If India releases water, water can also be stored in Mangla. Indus Water Commission officials say India will not release water in the winter, if it does, it will have its own losses.
