For the first time, 3 women directors have been nominated for the Golden Globe Awards

For the first time, three women directors have been nominated for the Golden Globe Awards 2021, which is considered to be the second most prestigious award in the film world after the Oscars.

According to British media, this is the first time in the history of the Golden Globe Awards that more than one woman has been nominated for the Best Director award.

The nominees include American director Regina King, China's Chloe Xiao and Britain's Emerald Fennell, who have been nominated for awards for their best films.

The award winners will be announced at a ceremony on February 28.

It should be noted that like last year, the Golden Globe Awards ceremony is being delayed by 2 months due to corona virus.

The ceremony, which usually takes place in early January, was also held in June last year due to Corona.
