 There is so much to do and so many wounds to heal, Biden's first address to the nation

  • Joe Biden was sworn in and became the 46th president of the United States.
  • In his first address to the nation after taking the oath of office, US President Joe Biden said, "This is the day of the United States. This is the day of democracy. Today we are celebrating not one candidate but one goal. I believe in the power of the US Constitution." Am
  • The American people are great, we have a lot to do, a lot to heal, many dreams, the dream of eradicating racism can no longer be postponed, today my soul is attached to the cause of national unity and racial unity, 'he said. Yes, I know the forces that divide us are deep and real.
  • Today, as in the past, we can all work together to make peace possible. Today, we must become a true United States of America,  'he said.
  • Addressing the nation, the new US President said that today, for the first time in the history of the country, a woman has become the Vice President. I must now unite the United States and the American nation. To fight terrorism, I will work with all my heart to reunite America.
  • Referring to his opponents, Biden said, "I want to tell those who are against me to talk to me, even if they disagree with me. Remember, this is the beauty of democracy. I assure you that I am the president of all those who voted for me. Be the president, be the president of those who voted against me.
  • We will work to restore the foundations of democracy and unity. It is the duty of every American to stand up for the truth instead of lying. Together we must heal the wounds of the American people. We must red, blue, liberal and conservative.  The civil war must end, only then will our country be strong, our economy strong.
  • Joe Biden vowed that we will fight the challenges of white extremism, internal terrorism and the plague. I will do my best, I will work for all of you, may God protect America and the American army.
