President gives important orders during nuclear program, important revelations of former Pakistani ambassador Syeda Abida Hussain

President Ishaq said that it would take us 18 months to complete the nuclear program. Until then, you have to keep the Americans busy. Nawaz Sharif was unaware of the nuclear program. Abida Hussain's shocking interview

Lahore: Former Pakistani Ambassador to the United States Syeda Abida Hussain's shocking interview has come to light. He said that it was true that Osama bin Laden had supported Nawaz Sharif. Osama bin Laden used to support Nawaz Sharif financially. I made an ambassador.

President Ishaq said that it would take us 18 months to complete the nuclear program. He said that you have to keep the Americans engaged for 18 months. The nuclear program was under the supervision of the President and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was unaware. If Nawaz Sharif was the Prime Minister then why he was ignorant and why your contact was only with the President.

To which Abida Hussain said that my contact was only with President Ishaq.

Since the nuclear program was under the supervision of President Ishaq, I did not have much contact with the Prime Minister. I spent 18 months in talks.

It is pertinent to mention that the Prime Minister of Pakistan and PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif was accused of taking money from Osama bin Laden, the head of the global terrorist organization Al-Qaeda. It was done in the book 'Khalid Khawaja: Martyr of Peace' written by Shamama Khalid, wife of former IAS officer Khalid Khawaja.

The book states that Muhammad Nawaz Sharif obtained funds from Osama bin Laden to contest elections against Benazir Bhutto of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) after the Zia-ul-Haq era. The book claims that Nawaz Sharif's pledge to introduce an Islamic system of government attracted not only Khalid Khawaja but also Osama bin Laden, but Nawaz Sharif reneged on his promises after coming to power as a result of huge funding from Osama. The book also includes a note from former ISI director general Lt. Gen. (retd) Hameed Gul in which he claimed that Khalid Khawaja had close ties with Nawaz Sharif for some time.
