 I have come to Pakistan to learn something new, Australian bowler

  • Australian fast bowler Aaron Summers has started training at the National High Performance Center and is training under the supervision of former all-rounder Azhar Mahmood.
  • Aaron Summers will represent Southern Punjab in the Pakistan Cup and is the first Australian cricketer to play Pakistan domestic cricket.
  • Talking to media on the occasion of the first training session at the National High Performance Center, Aaron Summers said that he would be excited to come to Lahore for training and try to learn by playing in different conditions of Pakistan.
  • He said that the domestic cricket season is also going on in Australia at the moment and cricket is also taking place here, and discussions are being held with the coaches regarding performance.
  • I have to go further and learn more, for which the coaches told me to learn new skills and go to different places, play and learn in different conditions,  said the Australian bowler.
  • The purpose of my coming here is to learn and play domestic cricket and BBL, I will learn as much as I can by playing with players and coaches,  he said.
  • Aaron Summers said that his all time favorite fast bowler in Pakistan cricket is Shoaib Akhtar.
  • Former all-rounder Azhar Mahmood said that Aaron Summers has a lot of potential, he also has speed and skills.
  • He said the Australian bowler had been told about the swing in the first session and that he was capable of swinging.
  • On the other hand, Southern Punjab has organized a one-week training camp at the National High Performance Center.
  • Aaron Summers will join Southern Punjab on January 5 in Karachi where the Pakistan Cup will start on January 8.
