• Rohingya Muslims have been airlifted to the remote island of Bhashan Char on four Bangladesh Navy ships.

• Human rights groups have expressed concern over the Bangladeshi move. The Bangladeshi government plans to relocate about 1 million Rohingya Muslims living in 100,000 Rohingya camps on Bhashan Char Island.

• The first group of Rohingya Muslims was relocated to the island on December 4, the United Nations says it is not involved.
