Trump also lost in Pennsylvania on appeal

  • The U.S. Federal Court of Appeals also strongly rejected Trump's allegations of fraud in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • According to foreign media, a three-member bench of the US Federal Court of Appeals ruled that the case had no merit and Trump's lawyers did not make any specific allegations while no evidence was given in this regard.
  • Earlier, the US Lower Court had rejected Trump's allegations of fraud in Pennsylvania, after which the US President's lawyers challenged the decision of the Lower Court in the Federal Court of Appeal and asked the court to reconsider the decision.
  • In his judgment, the appellate court judge said that free and fair elections are the lifeblood of our democracy. Allegations of rigging are serious but the demand for declaring the election rigged is not valid.
  • The judge said evidence was needed to substantiate the allegations, which were not present in court.
  • Following the Federal Appeals Court's decision, Trump's lawyers hinted at going to the Supreme Court.
  • It should be noted that the Democratic candidate from the US state of Pennsylvania, Joe Biden, has won by a margin of 80,000 votes, while he has crossed the required 270 votes to become the President and got 306 electoral votes.
  • In a statement on Thursday, Trump said that if Joe Biden was declared the winner, he would step down, but the next day Trump again made baseless allegations and said that Joe Biden could only enter the White House when Prove that they did not fraudulently and illegally take 80 million wood.
  • Defeated Trump has been dealt a major blow by the US Federal Court ruling and has failed to capture Biden's victory over Pennsylvania.
