  • According to the statement Saudi King Rawa made it clear to the US President that the state wants a permanent and just solution to Palestine for which the Arabs consider the peace agreement as the basis. The agreement was proposed by Saudi Arabia in 2002 which offered Israel to recognize a two_state solution and restore diplomatic relations if it relinquished land seized in the 1967 Arab_Israeli war.

  • The two leaders also reviewed measures to prevent the corona epidemic this year under the auspices of the Saudi_led G20. Saudi King Rawa vows to continue cooperating under G20 to address humanitarian and economic issues caused by the epidemic
  • It should be noted that after the peace agreement and the establishment of diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel last month, the eyes of the Arab and Muslim world are fixed on Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia initially declined to comment on the deal but later issued a statement calling for a two_state solution but ruled out relations with Israel.
