Human Rights Watch calls for immediate end to Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir

  • Kashmir: The international human rights organization Human Rights Watch has called for an end to Indian bigotry in occupied Kashmir and justice for Kashmiris.
  • Human Rights Watch expressed grave concern over India's continued occupation of occupied Kashmir, lifting restrictions on freedom of expression in the Valley, restoring internet services, holding those responsible for human rights violations and holding them accountable in the Valley. He demanded immediate justice for the exploited Kashmiris by ending unjust policies.
  • The International Organization for Human Rights (IOHR) has said that the Muslims of Kashmir continue to be exploited by the Indian government. India has imposed strict and discriminatory sanctions against the Muslims of Kashmir.
  • Human Rights Watch said there was a severe lack of freedom of expression, information and health care in the occupied valley, and that the Corona epidemic had exacerbated the plight of the valley's people.
  • The group says India imposed sanctions on the valley a year ago and illegally arrested thousands of people, including hundreds of children.
  • He demanded that India immediately release political prisoners and end cases against journalists and social activists.
  • It should be noted that Exploitation Day is being observed all over the world including Pakistan today to show solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
